SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the above date and time the Vermont State Police Derby barracks received a report of a one vehicle collision on VT Route 105 in Jay, VT, east of the intersection with True North Way. The operator of the vehicle reported he swerved his vehicle to avoid a deer in the road and struck the ledge at this location. No injuries were reported, the vehicle suffered major damage to the front end, front wheels, hood, and engine areas and was towed from the scene by Ray's Towing. VSP was assisted on scene by Newport Ambulance Service and the Jay Fire Department.
